Craft Store Road Trip

Happy Thursday High Hopes Fans!

I don't know about you but March sure has flown by! I can't believe our month of Anything Goes is almost over - I've had way too much fun playing with these stamps this month.

For my last post of March I would like to introduce you to a fun stamp called "Off To The Craft Store". I made a slider card so she slides back and forth on the card.
This stamp is so fun! My son's girlfriend has a "Bug" so guess what stamp I will use for her Birthday card this year but it could also be used for travel, someone getting their licence, buying their first car and so much more!

After the stamp was coloured with alcohol markers, I fussy cut it using manicure scissors. I added Silver Wink of Stella to the wheel spokes, bumpers and door handle and some Glossy Accents to the windshield. The background scene was created with a cloud embossing folder and a cute home on a hill die. I used a slider die to create the space for her to slide back and forth on the card.

I wanted to keep my paper and layout simple to keep the focus on this fun image. The sentiment was created on my computer and some of my fav gumdrops finish off my card.

Busy Mama!

Good Morning!
Look at poor "Busy Mama" from High Hopes Stamps! She has her hands full with all her little bunnies! I'm sure there's a few more hiding behind her skirt that we can't see.
Easter is around the corner and "Busy Mama" makes the perfect Easter Card! Of course the Doodlebug Easter Express 6x6 collection is perfect too, lots of fun patterns! I paper pieced her apron and pockets for a fun element!
From the side you can see that I popped up the image with some from squares for some extra dimension to my card.
I used the HH "Blessed Easter Script" sentiment.

DIY Interactive Birthday Card*

Hello High Hopes Friends,
I'm back with DIY Interactive Birthday Card today!

I stamped "Cherry Chip Chimp" with Black Archival ink and coloured it with Prismacolor pencils and blended with Gamsol & a blending stumps. I added Diamond stickles to his delicious cupcake and Glossy Accent to his eyes & cherri. Once the stickles and glossy accent dry, I fussy cut it leaving a small white border.

I hand cut a tag and used a sentiment called 'You Make Me Smile' from High Hopes Stamps. A few 4mm Sparkling sequins from P.P.P and this gorgeous teal ribbon and this birthday card is all done!

For the inside of my card I'm using the sentiment called 'Happy Birthday Blog'.  Thank you for stopping by today. Hope you all will join us for this fun challenge!

Egg-stra Special

Welcome back High Hopes Fans!

I had some fun playing with a High Hopes Easter stamp this week. How cute are these two?!

When we were kids we used to put dye and water into a mug and let the egg sit until it was coloured. There was a special wire handle that came in the kit to put the egg in and out of the mug and fun stickers to decorate the eggs with.

Of course, while we were waiting for the dye we would make a huge mess with everything we weren't using <smile>. I had to use the fun paint splatter paper on this one! This stamp sure brought back some fun memories!

After the stamp was coloured with alcohol markers, I cut it out using a classic circle die and then cut a scalloped die to go in behind it. The patterned paper pieces were cut to the size I wanted and placed on the card. Antique linen distress ink was put on all of the edges. Some fishtail banner tags were added along with some gumdrops and ribbon to finish off my card.

Brayden

Howdy - MichelleO here again and today and for March we have been looking through some of our past favorite stamps... and I couldn't revisit favorites without one of my very first High Hopes Stamps. And of course it is a DONKEY! This is Brayden... adore him!

Love Brayden!!! He has always reminded me of my first baby donkey Diego. :0) I colored with my copics (colors below) and then cut out with an oval Spellbinders Nestie. I then found an older Heartfelt Die to use as a mat. My papers are from Paper Studio's Country Road collection. I sewed all they layers down with a zig zag stitches. Then I used the a large mulberry flower and Martha Stewart leaves punch centered with "Just Because!"

Copic colors used -

There are so many FABULOUS images at High Hope Stamps. Make sure to visit the store website HERE and see it all.

Thanks so much for looking -

Ally Rose!

Hi HH Fans!
Today I am sharing with you the super cute "Ally Rose" from High Hopes Stamps. She is just so adorable and is in a sitting position so you can add her to whatever you want. I've used her on a fence before but today she is sitting the HH "Blossom Tree Branch" stamp.
I started by stamping her on some Copic XPress-It paper. Then I stamped her onto a Post-It note and fussy cute the image out. Then I put the Post-It note over the image and stamped the tree branch. This  makes Ally Rose look like she is sitting on the branch. Then off you go to colour and finish your card.
The Sentiment is also from High Hopes and is called "Smiling".
